OUR NOMAD STORY

Our story began at Kings Cross in 2020 on one of our returns to dry land, from working abroad in the yachting industry. We bought a notepad, started a spider diagram, and Nomadough was born…. Alex being the Nomad, Libby baking the dough.

Libby was born on a farm in Essex, growing up with a love of British countryside and the use of local produce. Libby trained at Leiths School of food and wine where she moved on to working in Londons fast paced events industry. She then moved on to the yachting industry where she discovered cuisines from around the world and combined them with her love of modern British food.

The truck has been built from scratch by Alex, who is originally from the Solomon Islands but has been a global nomad all his life.

We are now based in Cambridge and ready to bring our influences, flavours and skills we have learnt from our travels, combined with our love of all things bread.

Our vision is to provide high quality and authentic dough-based products from sourdough to fresh homemade bread, that incorporate local British produce and influences we have learnt in and around the world on our travels.
